Me, Murphy And 31DBBB!
I can’t believe it is Tuesday and nearly at the end of the month. I must admit I am starting to feel like I am getting on top of my workload. I probably have taken on more than I should but it makes life interesting. Although, all being well and if Murphy hadn’t stepped in, things would have not backed up. I had it all planned……
While I am behind in the 31DBBB, that’s the 31 Days to Building A Better Blog, I’m finding it excellent. Instead of just posting whatever, I now have some structure to follow. The blog that I am using, not this one, is one that I had waiting to build, not sure just what I was going to do with it or how I was going to use it so 31DBBB is just the thing.
The tasks for the first and second days, by the time I had finished those, the structure for the blog was right in front of me, mind you, it took me a little while for the ‘light bulb’ to flash on. Main thing is, that it did.
Some of the tasks have been challenging and have taken me out of my comfort zone, that’s a good thing…..afterwards that is. I’ve still a little way to catch up but now that that fellow Murphy has gone, then catch up is on the menu.
If you didn’t get onto this at the start of April then don’t fret, you can still do it. Sign up here and you will get an email each day with your tasks and the link to read the task in detail.
If you blog about anything or want to blog about something then now is your chance to start out right, I highly recommend it.
I said to someone earlier today, free is not always ‘free’ often times it gets very expensive. 31DBBB is the exact opposite, this free is so much value it’s priceless.
So do the Nike thing and Just Do It!
Cheers and take care

How To Get Results For Your Local Market!
It is an untapped market that is your local market, I’ve just watched a video by my local web host that shows how to get to the top of Google results for your local search.
These are the results that appear at the top of the page after you have typed in your search phrase. Google have changed these results lately and have

Smashy download
you noticed those little maps and also the phone numbers, all connected to Skype. Just a by the by, isn’t Skype going to be HUGE!
Now if you are targeting your local market to maybe build sites for them, help them promote their websites to market in their area etc., then this video will help you no end.
It is a very precise step by step, nothing left out, video that will have light bulbs flashing all over your brain.
Here is the link and now let Aaron show you how to do it. You can click here or Here or HERE, Doesn’t matter which one, as long as you click on a ‘here’ I would hate to see you miss out on this information. After all the local market is huge, it’s finding the right angle for them and getting the results that has been the hard part. This video will show you the how to.
One (Feels Like Two) of Those Days!
This has been one of those days, no matter where I went, there was a holdup, not the bank robber kind, just the two steps forward and a half one back.
The day started off a little slow, had to take the little kittens back to my son last night, they are beautiful kittens, they will be missed, have to go over more often to visit. So the kittensitting is over till another time. Using the keyboard is strange without one on my lap and the other wanting to control the mouse, told her it wasn’t a real mouse too.
Mind you the holdups were all related to offline stuff. I would like to start a petition for, every keypad to have the numbers and letters in the exact same
order and all companies who want to employ the press this and press that, to have it all in the exact same order too, with the Press #1 if you want to speak to a real person and if you want to go the try every number on your keypad route then have fun and see where you get to. That’s for when you are really, really bored and have nothing better to do, which would probably be never.
But there was one ray of sunshine, admittedly it way early in the day and that was my Infomillionaire package arrived. I haven’t had a chance to check it out yet and must admit I wasn’t expecting it until maybe another two weeks or so as I’m right over here in Australia. I’ll settle down after dinner tonight and start going through it.
So well done Frank and Trey and thank you very much. I missed out the first offer so this is from the second offer, great service.
I know there is a lesson to be learned from today, just can’t see it yet, maybe when I’m a littler, older lady, who knows…….
Tomorrow, I think I’ll stay indoors all day, maybe do a work in the PJs and not put my head outside. Hopefully I’ll get a lot done and I’ll not phone any companies, just stay in my cubbyhole.
Catch you later
Take care

Neat Way To Save Reference Stuff!
I just found a neat way to use Screen Steps and help myself out with information I wanted to keep for reference from ebooks.
I prefer to read offline and so will print out many ebooks or pages from ebooks that I want to use as reference later.
As Screen Steps are so quick to use, I have just taken the sections from an ebook that I wanted to keep as references, put them into SS and exported them as a PDF. Took so little time to do too.
I finished up with eight pages instead of forty-eight pages to print out and keep for referring to later.
If you do any tutorials and want the facts handy this is just the ticket.
I know you can go through and select pages and print just those, but mostly I only wanted sections of a page so this is ideal. I have also done a similar thing with Snagit, but this is so much quicker.
My printer ink and paper man is not going to like me very much, his takings will be down considerably but the trees will thank me, although I always use recycled paper but you never know, had to come from a tree once.
Screen Steps, Good Stuff!
I have just had some great fun creating a PDF tutorial with a new ‘toy’ I found.
It’s called Screen Steps and definitely not a ‘toy’, very powerful especially if you do any kind of tutorials.
You can find it at Screen Steps
You can turn screenshots into documentation that you can then export to PDF, HTML, Blogs, Wikis or ScreenSteps Live.
I can hear you say, Yeah! Right! I can do that now with Snagit or whatever. And yes you can but not as easily as this.
So far I’ve only exported using PDF and HTML.
With the PDF you are able to add clickable links and the HTML is all set for you to upload to your site or wherever you wish, complete with CSS file and images folder.
And…..they say it is for a PC and a MAC, so how good is that! I don’t have a MAC (yet) so I can’t check it out for you, so go do it yourself.
They have a free trial at the moment for 30 days but even if you want to purchase, they are not asking for your right arm plus three toes, it is a reasonable price. No, this is not an affiliate push, I don’t even know if they have an affiliate program.
Just thought you might like to trial it too and let me know what you think. I’m off to read the tutorial and watch the videos, who knows what I might be able to do once I do that.
Take care
Cheers
